Dear Elders, Brothers, Cousins, Friends,
As we enter February and all that it brings, we give a nod to Vladimir Putin who expanded anti-LGBTQ + legislation. We kindly remind him of Russia’s very own don’t say Gay “Fraternal Kiss”. One of the most famous photographs ever to come out of Russia in 1979 with Leonid Brezhnev and Erich Honecker. Russia has a huge rich gay history. His anti-LGBTQ+ legislation will not make it go away. History, pictures and literature is on our side.
