Gay Elder Circle – January 2022
Dear Elders, Brothers, Cousins, Friends,
We hope you have managed well during the ongoing pandemic. We wish each of you well and have time to reflect on the challenges experienced in 2021. While we had hoped to return to in-person meetings this month that does not at this time seem to be a possibility. The Omicron variant is making itself known and it is shown to be well traveled among certain populations. I have been in communication with multiple organizations who were ready to go back to in-person settings and have delayed those plans. There are a few organizations who are cautiously having in-person meetings with COVID protocols in place and some who have opted for meeting in outdoor spaces.
The Gay Elder Circle remains vigilant as most of our membership are in upper age categories. We will continue to monitor the pandemic and be transparent in our communications.
